In section 3 of "Night", by Elie Wiesel, Elie and his Dad are separated from his Sisters and Mom. While waiting in line someone tells him and his father to lie about their age, this confused Elie. Elie and his Dad were petrified from what people were telling them, and some men even wanted to revolt. As Elie was marching he saw the crematorium and a pit were people were being burned. He contemplated killing himself but then he was ordered to go to the barracks with his father. Elie explains how he will never forget his first night at the camp. All of the survivors in the barracks were taken to be shaven, and later to be disinfected and get clothes. Throughout the night they were ordered to run to multiple barracks. Finally, they arrive to block 17, there barrack. At the end of the section Elie and his Dad were moved to a new camp, Buna.
A part of this section that I found disturbing was when Elie watched babies and children being thrown into a fire pit. This sows how heartless SS officers were.
